Fear the Beard!

This thing is coming off one way or another VERY SOON! :) This Wednesday.....in 2 DAYS....is the last chance to break the attendance record of 33. If it happens....the beard is gone, but you get to choose what gets shaved off. If the record isn't broken, then I get to shave it how I want to...either way....it's coming off! So itchy! :) EACH OF YOU HAS TO INVITE FRIENDS TO COME!!!! We had 4 visitors last week and 27 in attendance....while that's pretty sweet, that's not enough! We need more! Don't be shy, don't be embarrassed...they are coming to hear the good news of salvation, which is the ultimate reason to bring them in the first place! The beard thing...that's just for fun, but inviting friends to church is a seriously awesome thing! Seeya Wednesday!

It means that there is absolutely nothing that happens in the universe that is outside of God’s influence and authority. He is in complete control! Enjoy the song! School Cancelled = Youth Group Cancelled. :(

Well....we'll have to try to break the record next Wednesday. Sorry if you had invited some friends to come. We'll just have to get them to come next Wednesday! Maybe this week's cancelled youth group will be just what we need to have more time to invite more friends! Yeah! There we go! :) Staying positive! 

If you have nothing going on this Sunday morning, we will be meeting for Sunday School at 9:30am. It's just like youth group, just without songs, games, and snacks. Whoops...when I put it that way it sounds bad! But it's actually pretty fun. We learn from God's Word, but we have fun at the same time. Just ask the teens about the crossword puzzles, or the poems. They'll know what that means. :) This week we have another fun thing planned. You should come check it out. We meet in the same room as we do on Wednesday nights.

Winter Meltdown is just 16 days away! Hopefully you're getting excited for it! Hey! We may even have snow up there! That would be nice!

Hey teenagers!!! Didja know that this Wednesday is the first chance to break the old attendance record of 33? Yes it is! Game Night!

YOUTH GROUP GAME NIGHT on Saturday Night, Januray 26th, from 6:30-8:30 here Walnut Park Baptist Church. We will be playing games in the gym, board games, video games, and whatever other game we can think of! Wear clothes to run around in, bring some friends along, and look forward to a fun night together! If parents will allow you, maybe we can all run over to McDonalds for an ice cream.
